A Call to New Life

God’s Beloved,

Christmas is nearly here.

Mary sang her song of praise “The Magnificat” to express her joy for God who loves her. She sang about God’s love for humanity and God’s desire for peace and justice on earth. Her soul magnified the tremendous love of God for humanity. May our souls sing and magnify God, our Creator.

In the birth of Jesus, we are given not only a sign of hope, but also the advent of God’s redemption and a call to new life, hope, and peace in Jesus.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, let us continue to pray, hope, and work for just peace and righteousness in our neighborhoods and around the world.

As disciples of Jesus, we practice his nonviolent way – the true path to peace. We are God’s peacemakers who are blessed and called children of God.

Love one another and show grace to others. Remember our neighbors in need – the poor, the hungry, the outcast, the forgotten, the exiled, the war-torn – and take care of them and be in solidarity with them. Take care of our beautiful planet earth, God’s creation with all God’s creatures.

May God’s love and light shine upon you, giving you hope, joy, and strength in your daily lives, and bring joy to the world.

Have a Blessed, Wonder-filled, Merry Christmas!

May God of Light, the Holy One of Hope, shine upon you for a Holy, Healthy, and Happy 2025!

The Peace of Christ be with you now and always.

Christmas Blessings,

Pastor Hyo-Jung
